It uses an industry-standard SEHT / SEHW / SEHX 43 (ISO 1204) insert which has a positive 20-degree clearance angle. The insert pockets are designed to be 19 degrees positively inclined to minimize vibration and each pocket has a chip escaping pathway to help prevent chip built-up on the insert edge. Each insert pocket is designed to reduce run-out and extend insert life. Easy reference guide for insert number, screw, and other accessories is printed on the tool shank.
